Terms & Conditions Warranty, Shipping & Returns (Victoria, Australia)
At Dazzle Plus, product quality and customer support are prioritized. This policy summarises Dazzle Plus’ warranty coverage and outlines purchaser responsibilities in relation to returns, shipping and associated costs.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Standard Warranty Period
· Machinery (excluding vehicle hoists): 12-month limited warranty commencing on the date of delivery.
· Vehicle hoists:
· 5-year structural warranty, and
· 2-year warranty on electrical and hydraulic components/parts.
1.2 Scope of Coverage The warranty applies to manufacturing defects and defective materials arising under normal use.
1.3 Exclusions The warranty does not apply to:
· consumable items;
· ordinary wear and tear;
· misuse or improper use;
· failure to perform routine maintenance;
· unauthorised modifications, tampering or repairs; and
· damage arising during local or international transit (refer to Section 3).
1.4 Service and Support Support is generally provided via remote technical assistance (video/telephone). Where on-site service is available, it may be subject to additional travel and labour charges.
2. Refund & Return Policy
Given the heavy-duty nature of the equipment, the following conditions apply.
2.1 Change of Mind Refunds are not offered for change-of-mind returns once machinery has been dispatched or unboxed.
2.2 Major Failure / Non-Repairable Defect Where a product is delivered with a major defect that cannot be repaired, the purchaser is entitled to a replacement of a similar product.
2.3 Reporting Timeframe All faults and any shipping-related damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
2.4 Return Condition Requirements Returned goods must be:
· in original packaging, and
· accompanied by all manuals, accessories and components.
2.5 Refund Deductions If a refund is approved, 25% of the total costs will be deducted to cover labour, transport, administration and handling.
2.6 Refund Processing Time Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. For large machinery and banking clearances, processing may take 30–60 business days.
3. Shipping, Insurance & Associated Costs
3.1 Return Shipping Responsibility Unless the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect, the purchaser is responsible for all costs associated with returning the goods to the Dazzle Plus warehouse.
3.2 Transit Insurance (Outbound Freight) Purchasers are strongly encouraged to purchase transit insurance for high-value machinery. Dazzle Plus is not responsible for damage caused by third-party freight carriers once goods leave the Dazzle Plus facility.
3.3 Return Shipment Insurance (Inbound Freight) If returning goods, the purchaser must ensure the return shipment is insured. Refunds will not be processed for items that arrive damaged during return transit.
4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Transactions and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and are intended to operate consistently with applicable ACCC guidance and Australian consumer law principles.
